Lindsay

Interpreter & Animal Care Specialist

Lindsay became fascinated with wolves at quite a young age but could find little information on them at the time that didn't illustrate the animals as evil beings out to destroy humans and all we hold dear. Fortunately, public perception of wolves slowly began to change over the years as people began to properly study wolves and learn of their true nature.

When she learned that there was a wolfdog sanctuary within an hour's drive from her home, she signed up for the soonest tour she could manage and was blown away by the people and animals living here. She began following the on-goings of the sanctuary and when an internship position became available, she joined the sanctuary team for several months in 2015.

After the internship, her life took her in several different directions, but her spirit never strayed far from the Sanctuary. In the spring of 2023, she joined the team as an Interpreter & Animal Care Attendant, and she truly felt like she'd finally found her dream job! Lindsay finds that getting to know the individual personalities of the wolfdogs has been incredibly rewarding!
