Amanda has always been very passionate about animals and animal welfare. After completing her Business Administration diploma at SAIT, she started volunteering with various animal rescue organizations and adopted two fur babies of her own. She still loves to help animals in need and continues to volunteer with AARCS in her spare time, welcoming foster animals into her home. An avid traveller, she worked in the hotel industry for several years but was excited by the chance to work at the Sanctuary. She became part of the Yamnuska team in September 2021 and enjoys learning about wolves and wolfdogs while working in the Visitors Center.
